Union Chill Cannabis Co. is set to open a new cannabis dispensary in Corning, New York, on May 16, 2025, at 10 a.m. The facility spans 14,000 square feet and is located at 34 West Pulteney Street, a site previously occupied by the Corning Leader newspaper. This opening positions Union Chill among the largest cannabis dispensaries in New York, catering to both locals and visitors in the Southern Tier and Finger Lakes regions.
Josh Canfield, a native of Hornell, will manage the Corning location, which marks the company’s second retail outlet; the first is in Lambertville, New Jersey. Canfield expressed enthusiasm about the opportunity to serve both residents and tourists, emphasizing the dispensary’s commitment to customer satisfaction and community engagement.
Union Chill’s Corning dispensary features dedicated consultation areas where trained cannabis experts will assist customers in selecting products that align with their individual needs and preferences. The facility includes a retail space, an event area for educational sessions, and ample on-site parking, enhancing accessibility for all visitors.
Matt Fisher, Chief Operating Officer of Union Chill Cannabis Co., stated the company’s mission focuses on fostering personal connections with customers and industry experts. He highlighted the importance of education in helping customers understand cannabis use, whether for wellness or recreational purposes.
The dispensary will offer a variety of hand-selected cannabis products, including flower, pre-rolls, edibles, beverages, and vapes. Union Chill plans to introduce delivery services shortly after the opening.
