Úřad pro správu konopí v Minnesotě vydal první licenci

The Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) has awarded the state’s first cannabis business license to Herb-Quest LLC, a microbusiness based in Brook Park, Pine County. Herb-Quest plans to focus on outdoor cultivation of cannabis plants as its primary activity.

OCM Interim Director Eric Taubel commented on the achievement, stating that it marks a notable development for the agency. With Herb-Quest now licensed to cultivate cannabis, the groundwork is set for the adult-use market in Minnesota. Over 600 additional businesses are in the final stages of completing their applications and obtaining local government approvals, indicating a growing interest in the cannabis sector in the state.

This first license is a critical step toward establishing a regulated cannabis market in Minnesota, which became legal for adult use earlier this year. As Herb-Quest prepares to start operations, the state anticipates a robust expansion of the industry, with the potential for more licenses to be issued in the coming months.
