Authorities in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, have seized 2,000 illegal cannabis plants from a suspected grow operation. Hui Tang has been charged with several felonies, including aggravated manufacturing of a controlled dangerous substance, trafficking of a controlled dangerous substance, and unlawful proceeds from illegal drug activity.
The Organized Crime Task Force (OCTF), part of the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office, conducted the operation that led to this significant seizure. Officials emphasized the importance of collaboration between various law enforcement agencies in tackling illegal cannabis activities. Oklahoma Attorney General Drummond commended the OCTF for their efforts, stating that their partnerships with federal, tribal, state, and local law enforcement make it clear that drug trafficking is unacceptable in the state.
