Společnost Aurora uvádí v Polsku na trh dva kmeny konopí s vysokým obsahem THC

Aurora Cannabis Inc. (NASDAQ: ACB) has announced the debut of two high-potency medical cannabis strains in Poland: Farm Gas and Sourdough. Farm Gas, boasting a THC content of 27%, will be available for prescriptions starting June 30, while Sourdough, featuring 29% THC, will launch in early August 2025.

These strains represent the highest THC levels currently available in the Polish medical cannabis market, positioning Aurora as a leader in product potency. Both cultivars are produced in Aurora’s Canadian facilities, which are certified under Good Agricultural and Collection Practices (GACP) and European Union Good Manufacturing Practice (EU-GMP) standards. This ensures high-quality cultivation and processing methods.

Farm Gas is a hybrid strain, developed from Sour Diesel and GMO genetics. It has a unique terpene profile that includes limonene and caryophyllene, giving it a distinctive aroma reminiscent of diesel and kerosene, complemented by fruity undertones. Sourdough, on the other hand, is derived from Cake and Diesel genetics and offers a combination of sour and gasoline notes, appealing to consumers seeking potent flavors and effects.

Aurora’s strategic entry into the Polish market is part of its broader European expansion efforts. The company aims to leverage its success in Canada by introducing these proprietary strains to meet the growing demand for high-quality medical cannabis in Europe. By launching two products sequentially, Aurora intends to establish a solid market presence and adapt to the preferences of Polish consumers and medical practitioners.

Michael Simon, Vice President of Commercial at Aurora Europe, emphasized the company’s dedication to quality and the rigorous processes involved in developing these proprietary strains. He stated, “As a result of our cutting-edge genetic breeding program, we’re best positioned to introduce these tried-and-true proprietary cultivars into the Polish market with assurance in quality and excellence.”

The Polish medical cannabis sector is still developing, but it shows significant promise. By introducing these high-THC products, Aurora aims to capture a share of an emerging market that prioritizes potency and quality. The launch of Farm Gas and Sourdough may appeal to prescribers looking for effective options for their patients, potentially setting a new standard in the medical cannabis landscape in Poland.

As the market grows, Aurora’s focus on proprietary genetics and robust production capabilities could lead to a competitive edge, enhancing its position in the European cannabis industry. The company’s experience in regulatory compliance and cultivation will be crucial in navigating this new market.

In summary, Aurora Cannabis is set to redefine the medical cannabis offerings in Poland with its introduction of Farm Gas and Sourdough. With THC levels reaching new heights, these products are likely to attract attention from both patients and healthcare providers, paving the way for future innovations in the medical cannabis sector.
