The analysis compiled data from nearly 200 million individuals across various countries, focusing on the relationship between cannabis use and cardiovascular outcomes. The findings revealed that cannabis users face a 20% increased risk of stroke, a 29% higher risk of acute coronary syndrome (ACS), and more than double the risk of cardiovascular mortality compared to non-users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The study highlights an urgent need for thorough investigations into cannabis use among patients with serious cardiovascular conditions. Only four of the studies included in the analysis assessed the dosage of cannabis used, raising concerns about the accuracy of exposure measurements.
