Entourage Health Corp., a Canadian producer of cannabis products, has launched a new medical cannabis program in collaboration with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 353 (IBEW 353). This initiative, which began on May 1, 2025, offers members of IBEW 353 access to a comprehensive medical cannabis program through Entourage’s subsidiary, Starseed Medicinal.
The program includes personalized treatment plans developed by a team of clinical practitioners specializing in cannabis-based treatments. Each member who registers as a patient will receive a tailored plan that addresses their specific medical needs. The program also features a direct billing system that encompasses Starseed’s entire product range, which includes capsules, oils, inhalers, sublinguals, soft chews, patches, compounds, vaporizers, and dried flower.
George Scorsis, CEO of Entourage Health, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We congratulate and proudly welcome IBEW 353 to Entourage’s leading full-service Starseed medical platform. Together, we are removing barriers to access medical cannabis as an alternative therapy for members and providing treatment options for various conditions.”
This collaboration marks a significant extension of Entourage’s efforts in the medical cannabis sector. Currently, the Starseed platform has established partnerships with 14 local unions, five insurance providers, and 20 clinics, indicating a growing network aimed at improving access to medical cannabis.
Eligible IBEW 353 members can now register for the Starseed program, which is specifically designed to address issues such as chronic pain management, insomnia, opioid cessation, and mental health therapies. The program operates within a Canadian virtual pharmacy system, allowing for online orders and seamless claims management with insurance providers.
Entourage Health Corp. operates a licensed 26,000 square foot processing facility in Aylmer, Ontario, and has a diverse portfolio of adult-use cannabis products, including brands like Color Cannabis and Saturday Cannabis.
