CSQ, a St. Louis-based leader in cannabis safety certification, is organizing a Quality Management System (QMS) Workshop aimed at helping cannabis operators in Missouri comply with state regulations. Scheduled for May 22nd, the workshop will last eight hours and focus on educating cannabis license holders about the state’s QMS requirements.
The event will feature a panel of quality assurance experts who will clarify the implementation of a QMS, dispel myths surrounding Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and offer insights into quality assurance tools, certifications, and training opportunities.
The workshop is open to Missouri cannabis license holders and professionals involved in manufacturing, cultivation, extraction, or retail. Additionally, cannabis consultants, trainers, auditors, local regulators, and service providers are encouraged to attend.
Tickets are priced at $49, which includes morning coffee, lunch, networking opportunities, and a Certificate of Completion for CSQ’s Cannabis Safety 101 Course. This two-hour course covers the hazards associated with cannabis and cannabinoid products and emphasizes a preventive approach to safety.
The event will be hosted at the office of ASI, a local food safety company that conducts CSQ audits for license holders, located at 500 NW Plaza Boulevard in St. Louis. Attendees must register online through Eventbrite to secure their tickets. Members of the Missouri Cannabis Trade Association can access free admission while supplies last by using a members-only discount code.
The inaugural CSQ QMS Workshop is supported by sponsors including Rootwurks, iComply, and CFE Consulting Group. For further information, interested parties can contact Kim Ring via email at kring@asifood.com.
