The OCM will specifically conduct a lottery for social equity applicants (SEAs) applying for cannabis retailer licenses, ensuring that these applicants retain some advantages as outlined in state legislation. Following the first lottery, a second lottery for general applicants will take place later this summer, which will also provide another opportunity for social equity applicants who were not selected in the initial draw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
