Borrett wurde am 25. Mai am Terminal 4 bei der R\u00fcckkehr aus Thailand, wo Cannabis legal ist, festgenommen. Die Zollbeamten entdeckten bei ihrer Kontrolle mehrere mit Cannabiskraut gef\u00fcllte Kisten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Borrett, die in der Lowestoft Road in Gorleston wohnt, erschien vor dem Willesden Magistrates' Court, wo sie sich der illegalen Einfuhr einer Droge der Klasse B f\u00fcr schuldig bekannte. In Anbetracht der Schwere ihres Vergehens und der Gefahr ihrer Flucht beschlossen die Richter, sie bis zur Urteilsverk\u00fcndung in Haft zu halten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das Gericht hat einen Bericht vor der Urteilsverk\u00fcndung angefordert, um alle Optionen zu pr\u00fcfen, einschlie\u00dflich der M\u00f6glichkeit einer sofortigen Gef\u00e4ngnisstrafe. Eine Anh\u00f6rung zur Verurteilung ist f\u00fcr den 16. Juni angesetzt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dieser Vorfall ist Teil eines allgemeinen Trends, denn die Beh\u00f6rden haben in letzter Zeit ihre Wachsamkeit gegen\u00fcber dem Drogenschmuggel, insbesondere aus L\u00e4ndern wie Thailand, erh\u00f6ht. Allein im vergangenen Jahr wurden am Flughafen Heathrow 430 Verd\u00e4chtige festgenommen und die Beh\u00f6rden beschlagnahmten insgesamt 14.617 Kilogramm Cannabis.
