On June 4, 2025, at approximately 10:15 a.m., Broxton Police Department officers conducted a traffic stop on George Deen Road, near the Broxton cemetery. The officers pulled over a 2007 Nissan Sentra driven by 34-year-old Johnny Alexander Davis, a resident of Broxton. During the stop, Davis consented to a search of his vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The search revealed two containers containing suspected methamphetamine and marijuana. As a result, Davis was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana. He was subsequently transported to the Coffee County Jail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A passenger in the Sentra was not charged and was released after the incident.
