The drink, produced in the Blue Ridge Mountains, is a collaboration between Mountain High and two distributors: Hoffman Beverage and Virginia Eagle, a wholesaler affiliated with Anheuser-Busch.
The seltzer is nonalcoholic and offers two flavors—Wild Berry and Lemon Lime. Each 12-ounce can contains 2 milligrams of THC and 4 milligrams of CBD, providing a mild, calming effect that can be felt within 10 to 15 minutes of consumption. The beverage contains only 30 calories and is designed for adult consumers looking for a low-calorie, low-THC option. A four-pack of Mountain High Seltzer retails for $17.99.
Joe Kuhn, the Founder and CEO of Mountain High, expressed enthusiasm about the product’s introduction to the Virginia market, citing a growing demand for low THC beverages. Mountain High Seltzer is also notable for being the first cannabis seltzer listed on the Voluntary Registry of Compliant Edible Hemp Products maintained by the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
