Aurora Cannabis Inc., a leading Canadian medical cannabis company, has introduced two high-potency cannabis flower products in Poland. This launch marks a significant addition to the Polish medical cannabis market, offering the highest THC levels currently available in the country. The new products, named Farm Gas and Sourdough, are set to provide patients with potent options for medical use.
Both cultivars are cultivated and processed in Aurora’s Canadian facilities that adhere to GACP (Good Agricultural and Collection Practices) and EU-GMP (European Union Good Manufacturing Practices) standards. The company emphasizes precision in their cultivation techniques, ensuring the quality of these premium dried cannabis flowers.
Farm Gas contains 27% THC and less than 1% CBD. It is bred from Sour Diesel and GMO genetics, featuring a terpene profile that includes limonene, caryophyllene, and nerolidol. The aroma presents strong notes reminiscent of kerosene and diesel, with a slight sweetness and hints of fruit sherbet.
Sourdough boasts an even higher THC content at 29%, also with less than 1% CBD, and is bred from Cake and Diesel genetics. This cultivar’s terpene profile similarly includes limonene and caryophyllene, but it offers a distinct aroma that combines sour, cake, and gasoline notes.
Michael Simon, vice president of Commercial at Aurora Europe, stated, “With our advanced genetic breeding program, we are well-prepared to introduce these proprietary cultivars to the Polish market, ensuring quality and excellence for prescribers and their patients.”
Farm Gas will be available for prescription starting June 30, 2025, followed by Sourdough, which is expected to be available in early August. Aurora’s commitment to high-quality cannabis cultivation and its expertise in the European regulatory landscape solidify its position as a trusted leader in the advancement of the Polish medical cannabis sector.
