El estudio piloto, que est\u00e1 actualmente en curso, muestra que los participantes que accedieron a cannabis legalmente obtenible para uso recreativo informaron de mejores resultados de salud mental y una disminuci\u00f3n de los problemas relacionados con la adicci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Realizado en Basilea, al noroeste de Suiza, el ensayo Weed-Care incluye a 300 consumidores de cannabis mayores de 18 a\u00f1os. Estos participantes ya eran consumidores de cannabis antes de unirse al estudio. Pueden comprar cannabis en farmacias reguladas que forman parte de la iniciativa Weed-Care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los productos de cannabis a disposici\u00f3n de los participantes est\u00e1n libres de pesticidas y cannabinoides sint\u00e9ticos, con un etiquetado claro de los porcentajes de ingredientes activos, incluidos el THC y el CBD. La Oficina Federal de Salud P\u00fablica (OFSP) ha aprobado todos los productos, cuyo precio oscila entre 8 y 12 francos suizos (7 y 7,50 libras esterlinas) por gramo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los resultados del ensayo indican que los participantes experimentaron niveles m\u00e1s bajos de depresi\u00f3n, ansiedad y conductas adictivas. Cabe destacar que no se produjo un aumento de la frecuencia del consumo de cannabis ni de la cantidad total consumida. Los investigadores descubrieron que los participantes hab\u00edan consumido 87 kg de cannabis, valorados en 900.000 francos suizos (788.800 libras esterlinas), y que casi un tercio de los productos conten\u00edan un nivel de THC inferior a 13%, que es significativamente menor que el nivel medio de THC que se encuentra en el mercado negro suizo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El ensayo Weed-Care es el primero de este tipo en Suiza, y ha inspirado estudios similares en otras zonas, incluido el piloto Z\u00fcri Can en Z\u00farich, la ciudad m\u00e1s grande del pa\u00eds.
