Una mujer de 24 a\u00f1os de Texas, Christina C. Miranda, ha sido detenida por intentar presuntamente introducir de contrabando unos 63 gramos de cannabis en el centro penitenciario de Green Haven, situado en Beekman (Nueva York). Seg\u00fan la polic\u00eda del estado de Nueva York, Miranda fue detenida el s\u00e1bado 24 de mayo, utilizando a su hijo como c\u00f3mplice involuntario en la operaci\u00f3n de contrabando.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miranda ha sido acusada de promover en segundo grado el contrabando en prisi\u00f3n y de poner en peligro el bienestar de un menor. Los cargos se derivan de sus presuntas acciones de ocultar el cannabis en la espalda de su hijo cuando se acercaban a la prisi\u00f3n. Este incidente suscita serias preocupaciones sobre la seguridad y el bienestar de los menores implicados en este tipo de actividades delictivas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tras su detenci\u00f3n, Miranda fue puesta en libertad con una orden de comparecencia y deber\u00e1 comparecer ante el tribunal municipal de Beekman el jueves 12 de junio a las 18:00.
