Carmelo Anthony, a ten-time NBA All-Star and 2003 NCAA Champion, has officially launched his cannabis brand, STAYME70, in Syracuse, New York. He visited downtown Syracuse on Monday, April 14, 2025, to promote this new venture, showcasing his premium line of flowers and vaporizers.
The event took place at the FlynnStoned Cannabis Company located at 219 Walton St., where Anthony met fans from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. STAYME70, pronounced “Stay Melo,” marks the first brand launch under Grand National, a cannabis-focused agency that aims to provide high-quality cannabis products.
Carmelo Anthony is renowned for leading Syracuse to its only national championship in 2003 and has played for several NBA teams, including the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Lakers. He is set to return to Syracuse on Sunday, May 11, to deliver the commencement address for the Syracuse University class of 2025, coinciding with his son Kiyan Anthony joining the Orange men’s basketball team as part of the 2025 recruiting class.
