Metuchen, New Jersey, has opened its first cannabis dispensary, HoneyStash, located at 700 Middlesex Ave., across from the Middlesex County Greenway. This opening marks a notable development for the borough, which is entirely surrounded by Edison, a township that has yet to establish any dispensaries despite having 10 available licenses that remain unused. HoneyStash focuses on wellness and offers a selection of small-batch, hand-packaged craft cannabis sourced from independent cultivators.
The dispensary features products from well-known brands such as Brighterside Farms, EV Family Farms, Neptune’s Garden, Bass River Buds, Jerzey Grown, Hillview Farms, Sun Extractions, Onyx, Niche, Garden Greens, Veda Warrior, and Miss Grass.
Metuchen Borough Council President Jason Delia expressed pride in the new addition, stating, “By embracing an independent dispensary like HoneyStash, Metuchen continues to lead with innovation while staying true to our small-town values.” He emphasized that HoneyStash’s dedication to art and community aligns with the borough’s character.
