A significant cannabis farm with 500 plants was found in a quiet village near Northampton. The discovery happened when officers from the Daventry and South Northants Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) executed a warrant on March 13, 2025, following a tip-off about illegal cultivation at the property in Harpole. The plants were located in multiple rooms of the house.
During the operation, police arrested a 44-year-old man from Northampton. He was suspected of being involved in supplying a Class B drug and was also found carrying a knife in a public place. He has since been released on conditional bail as the investigation continues.
