A recent police operation in Glasgow uncovered a significant cannabis farm in a flat on Glencoe Street, with a street value estimated at £436,400. Officers acted on intelligence and raided the property around 9:20 PM on Thursday, March 20.
During the raid, police recovered cannabis plants valued at approximately £409,800, along with herbal cannabis worth around £26,600. Photographs from the scene showed officers handling what appeared to be cannabis plants.
A 47-year-old man was arrested in connection with the cannabis farm and has since been charged. He is scheduled to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, March 24. Constable Lewis Reaney emphasized the negative impact of drugs on communities and called for public assistance in reporting illegal activities. He urged anyone with information or concerns to contact the police via 101 or to report anonymously through Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
