Four Arrested in Tulare County Drug Bust Involving 800 Marijuana Plants

Four men have been arrested following a significant drug bust in Tulare County, California. The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office announced the operation that took place on Friday morning, which led to the seizure of about 800 marijuana plants and several firearms.

The operation began around 7 a.m. with the execution of several search warrants across Porterville, Tulare, Poplar, and Earlimart. This coordinated effort involved multiple agencies, including the Porterville Police Department, the Department of Corrections, California Fish and Game, and the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.

The suspects arrested are all active members of the Norteño gang. They are identified as 24-year-old Carlos Farfan, 24-year-old David Vielma, 25-year-old Fernando Moreno-Morales, and 35-year-old Alejandro Gutierrez. Investigators indicated that these individuals were wanted for their involvement in the illegal drug trade.
