Orlando police have arrested six individuals in connection with the theft of 16 pounds of cannabis. The arrests occurred after an incident in a downtown parking garage in February, where the suspects allegedly stole boxes filled with cannabis, and during the altercation, shots were fired.
Among those arrested are five men who face serious charges, including attempted felony murder with a firearm. A woman was also arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery and conspiracy to traffic a controlled substance, according to police reports.
The incident highlights ongoing concerns about cannabis-related crimes in the area, as authorities continue to address issues of safety and legality surrounding cannabis distribution. This case is part of a broader effort by law enforcement to tackle crime associated with the cannabis industry in Florida.
