The Missouri Division of Cannabis Regulation (DCR) announced on Monday that it has revoked 25 microbusiness cannabis facility licenses in its second round of licensing reviews. Among these, one license belonged to Potent Pals, a business located in Moberly, Missouri.
According to a news release from the DCR, 24 of the revoked licenses failed to show that they were majority owned and operated by eligible individuals. Additionally, one license was revoked due to a disqualifying felony offense. However, the DCR did not provide specific reasons for the revocation of Potent Pals’ license.
In October 2024, the DCR had previously issued 32 Notices of Pending Revocations to microbusinesses that received licenses during the second round of lottery applications held in July 2024. The affected microbusinesses were given a 30-day period to respond to the allegations and demonstrate why their licenses should remain active. Out of those, seven businesses successfully met the requirements and were not suspended.
