Authorities seize over 700 illegal cannabis plants in Maine

Authorities in Belgrade, Maine, confiscated and destroyed more than 700 illegal marijuana plants during a search operation on Friday morning. The Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence located at 750 Oakland Road after receiving reports of an unauthorized cannabis cultivation operation. The raid took place around 9 a.m. with assistance from the Maine Office of Cannabis Policy.
