On April 22, 2025, the Missouri Division of Cannabis Regulation announced a recall of marijuana products sold by 1913 Carrollton Manufacturing LLC. This action was prompted by serious safety concerns regarding the packaging of these products.
The recall affects products packaged in designs that imitate non-marijuana items, violating state regulations intended to protect children and deter accidental consumption. The Division noted that the packaging utilized was different from what had been previously approved, breaching established safety standards.
As per state law 19 CSR 100-1.100(4)(P), the Division can issue public notices when a product poses a health or safety risk. Fortunately, there have been no reported adverse reactions linked to the recalled products at the time of the announcement.
Consumers who purchased these items are advised to return them to the dispensaries where they were acquired. Such returns will not impact a patient’s purchase limit. For further details, patients should directly contact the dispensary of purchase.
A full list of the affected products is available through the Division’s official channels.
