Pasadena police arrested two men early Friday morning on felony charges related to weapons and narcotics after a routine traffic stop. The incident occurred at approximately 2:27 a.m. at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Lake Avenue. Officers pulled over the vehicle for a traffic violation and subsequently discovered two firearms along with illegal drugs.
The suspects, identified as Kasey Stinson, 39, from Pasadena, and Edward Robinson, 24, from Azusa, were detained after officers noticed a pistol grip protruding from the rear pocket of the front passenger seat. During the investigation, police recovered a tan Glock 19 9mm pistol and a silver .357 Colt Python revolver. Additionally, the officers found cocaine and large quantities of marijuana, as well as an undisclosed amount of cash.
