Staff at the new recreational cannabis dispensary in Moorhead, Minnesota, are adapting well nearly two weeks after opening. Operated by the White Earth Band of Chippewa, the shop has experienced a strong start, averaging around 400 customers daily. On its opening day, the store welcomed nearly 700 visitors, the peak traffic expected for the time being.

Jay Roberts, the general manager, shared insights on customer behavior and product popularity. He noted that one of the top-selling strains is ‘Dulce,’ which has attracted attention not only for its name but also for its performance on the shelves. The shop is already preparing for a restock due to high demand.

The location of the dispensary near the North Dakota border has also drawn many customers from Fargo, North Dakota. Justin Boetel, a budtender at the shop, remarked on the diverse clientele, mentioning that they receive visitors from areas further away than anticipated.

As the first cannabis dispensary in Minnesota, the staff takes pride in their pioneering role in the local market, reflecting a growing trend in cannabis retail. With consistent traffic and popular products, the Moorhead dispensary is establishing itself as a key player in the state’s recreational cannabis landscape.
