Michigan Cannabis Processor License Permanently Revoked for Violations

Michigan’s Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA) has permanently revoked the processor license held by Flavor Galaxy LLC, operated by Hanna Shina and Jaklin Shina in Hazel Park. This decision came as a result of various violations of the Michigan Regulatory and Taxation of Marihuana Act, which includes false packaging claims about their pre-roll products sold under the brand name “Amnesia.”

The CRA stated that the violations involved improper labeling for marijuana vape cartridges, failure to maintain adequate records, and not conducting required safety testing. Additionally, it was found that the company added a significant amount of marijuana product to packages after they had already been tested for compliance by a licensed laboratory.

These issues were discovered during an investigation triggered by an anonymous complaint received last year. The CRA’s consent order to close Flavor Galaxy LLC’s license was officially signed on March 24, ensuring that the former licensees are permanently barred from operating or working in any licensed marijuana business in Michigan, as well as from applying for any marijuana business licenses.
