Missouri Regulators Add 6,000 More Products to Cannabis Recall List

Missouri cannabis regulators have identified another 6,000 products that should have been recalled in 2023. This decision follows a significant recall two years ago, where 62,000 items were removed from shelves due to health and safety concerns related to a THC concentrate. The latest products linked to the recall were all made with ingredients from Delta Extraction, a company based in Robertsville, Missouri.

In August 2023, Missouri authorities suspended Delta Extraction’s license after discovering that its distillate was made using untested cannabis or converted hemp sourced from outside licensed cultivation facilities in Missouri. This raised serious concerns about the safety of the products being sold to consumers.

The Missouri Division of Cannabis Regulation is taking these actions to ensure public safety and compliance within the cannabis industry. They emphasize the importance of using only tested and approved ingredients in cannabis products to prevent any health risks to consumers.
